PranaQ 是一家健康科技新創公司,團隊成員分佈於台灣和美國,主要市場鎖定在美國。他們的使命是幫助人們克服睡眠窒息症(Sleep Apnea),通過移動應用程式和穿戴式硬體的結合,在睡眠中收集數據並提供給專業醫療機構參考。不僅讓醫生能夠清楚了解患者狀況,還致力於開發不干擾睡眠的穿戴式硬體,取代傳統複雜的儀器,只需將產品綁在指尖即可。
PranaQ 品牌以患者為中心,相信每個人都應受益於積極的反饋和個性化的治療優化,享受卓越的醫療保健。Prana 一詞源於印度醫學,代表一種存在於所有生命體內的生命能量。生物透過呼吸從太陽光中吸收 prana,並在全身細微孔道中流動,維持生命、形成意識,是萬物的宇宙之源。這一概念在中醫中被稱為「氣」。品牌名 PranaQ 將這一生命能量(Prana)與智商(Intelligence Quotient, IQ)中的 Q 結合,以表達品牌通過人工智慧識別和分析的特點。
品牌標誌設計以品牌理念為核心,採用圓潤幾何構成的簡約字體,細節流暢,融合了現代醫療與新創的氛圍。呼吸起伏的波形被巧妙融入 Q 的筆畫中,並延伸至簡報和展場應用,營造出如靜謐睡眠般的柔和放鬆感。品牌色彩系統中,深灰色和青色象徵古老智慧與當代科技的融合,幫助患者改善睡眠障礙、提升生活品質。輔助色彩橙色和黃色,不僅對應日月,也中和了色盤,塑造出溫暖且充滿活力的品牌調性。PranaQ 在 2022 年底完成了 300 萬美元的種子輪募資,目前正在籌備產品上市計畫,並以美國市場為主。
PranaQ is a health tech startup with team members located in Taiwan and the United States, targeting the U.S. market. Their mission is to help people overcome sleep apnea through a combination of a mobile app and wearable hardware that collects data during sleep and provides it to professional medical institutions. This approach allows doctors to clearly understand patient conditions and aims to develop wearable hardware that minimizes sleep disruption, replacing traditional complex devices with a simple fingertip attachment.
PranaQ's brand is patient-centric, believing that everyone should benefit from proactive feedback and personalized treatment optimization to enjoy superior healthcare. The term "Prana" is derived from Indian medicine, representing a life energy present in all living beings. Organisms absorb prana from sunlight through breathing, which flows through minute channels in the body, sustaining life, forming consciousness, and being the source of all things in the universe. This concept is echoed in Chinese medicine as "Qi." The brand name PranaQ combines this life energy (Prana) with the "Q" from Intelligence Quotient (IQ) to reflect the brand's use of artificial intelligence for identification and analysis.
The brand logo design centers on this philosophy, featuring a streamlined typeface with rounded geometric forms, emphasizing smooth details that blend the essence of modern medical and startup environments. The waveform of breathing is subtly integrated into the strokes of the "Q" and extended into presentations and exhibition applications, creating a gentle and relaxing image akin to peaceful sleep. The brand’s color system uses deep gray and cyan to symbolize the fusion of ancient wisdom and contemporary technology, helping patients improve sleep disorders and enhance quality of life. The auxiliary colors, orange and yellow, correspond to the sun and moon, balancing the color palette to shape a warm and energetic brand tone. PranaQ completed a $3 million seed funding round at the end of 2022 and is currently preparing for product launch, primarily focusing on the U.S. market.
