Brief /

I was asked to design a series of three book covers—including front, spine, and back—to represent a reissue. The books didn’t have to be from the same author or publisher. However, they needed to share the same grounding elements to tie them all together and work as a series.

Concept /

Trainspotting, On the Road, and I Robot, each represents a great adventure story within a different genre. When these three novels were originally published, young people of today simply didn’t exist. I redesigned the book covers by using contemporary flat illustration style in a humorous way. I believe it is more suitable to attract young people’s attention to read these great stories.
